Buckling Analysis of Laminated Stiffened Plates with Material Anisotropy Using the Rayleigh–Ritz Approach

چکیده

An energy-based solution for calculating the buckling loads of partially anisotropic stiffened plates is presented, such as antisymmetric cross-ply and angle-ply laminations. A discrete approach, mathematical modelling formulations plates, followed. The developed extend Rayleigh–Ritz method explore available unstiffened plate solutions to interesting cases with some degree material anisotropy. examined consider simply supported under uniform linearly varying compressive loading. Additionally, a reference finite element (FE) model compare calculated validate approach its accuracy. results are also compared respective experimental where they were in literature. Finally, an extended discussion regarding assumptions restrictions applied made, so that limitations identified documented.
